I regret my past self's decision to make this my last meal before leaving Nakashibetsu. A place I absolutely have to revisit if I return to Nakashibetsu. If you're traveling to Nakashibetsu town, I definitely recommend going.

You can enjoy a relaxed meal in a private room. This place is incredibly popular. Cars just keep coming and coming. You order by phone from your private room. Credit cards are accepted. The menu is extensive. It's hard to choose.

This was my second visit. It's close to Nakashibetsu Airport and perfect for filling time. The interior is spacious, with private rooms, so I highly recommend it for families with children. You order using the phone in the room too. There are sunken kotatsu, tatami, and chair seating options. Tea is self-service too. There is a children's menu. Plenty of choices, including set menus and individual dishes. You can also get 100% buckwheat soba for an extra 200円. The portions are generous too, so I recommend it. Thanks for the meal. Parking available. Cards accepted.

This is “Sobadokoro Fukian” in Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido. It seems to be a very popular local soba restaurant and is always busy from opening to closing. It appears mainly geared toward families, with mostly private rooms and a counter area for about 6〜7 people in one corner. Orders in both the private rooms and counter area are placed by intercom phone. They don't come to take your order. There are many set menus centered on soba, and each is reasonably priced despite generous portions, so its popularity made sense. Alongside regular white soba, you can choose inaka soba or 100% buckwheat soba made with buckwheat grown in Nakashibetsu (+200円). Since you're there, I recommend ordering the 100% buckwheat soba. Opening hours are from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., so you can't eat late at night. It's always crowded, but turnover seems quick, so even when busy, I think you can get in by having your name added to the list and waiting a little.

It seems to be a locally popular soba restaurant; when I visited on Sunday evening, customers kept arriving without a break. There were many private rooms inside, providing plenty of privacy. The fried seafood I ordered was well drained of oil and delicious. The soba itself had a slightly soft texture. The nori-wrapped soba was innovative.
