2026.04.17 A new soba shop has opened at the roadside station⭐️ There are only 4 menu items, but the retro interior and polite service from the owner and staff make it a pleasant place to eat😊 Both were delicious, but I’d be even happier if a large portion were an option😅 Thank you for the meal❣️
View on GoogleThere’s a bit of a wait after ordering, but the carefully prepared soba is delicious. The 豚丼 was also fragrant and tasty.
View on GoogleMy wife and I entered just after opening at 11:00 on 5/6, 2026. It seems this place serves soba until 15:00 and operates as a café afterward. Several people were already lined up, but we entered without waiting. (You buy a meal ticket before entering… I chose ざるそば) The interior retained the atmosphere of an old shop and felt nice. It took about 40 minutes from entering until the soba was served, which was painfully slow. The soba had plenty of bite and visible black specks. I later heard that it contains sesame. Unfortunately, as for the taste… I couldn’t detect any soba flavor at all, and couldn’t call it delicious even to be polite. To put it bluntly, it felt like a “tourist-oriented” shop I wouldn’t visit a 2nd time. As written above, ①the wait is too long ②it’s supposedly 2・8 soba, but has no flavor… These 2 points made me feel they aren’t aiming for repeat customers. It’s disappointing, but even if I go to the roadside station, there won’t be a next time.
View on GoogleI had ざるそば. Both the soba and its dipping sauce were extremely delicious!! The shop uses part of an old traditional house that serves as a museum, so the atmosphere was wonderful too.
View on GoogleI went in because I was drawn to the appearance of this shop. Apparently, a farmhouse from the Taisho era was relocated and converted into the shop. Large original beams run across the ceiling inside, giving it a solid, dignified feel. The interior is calming too. At the back are rooms recreating old daily life with everyday items from the past, preserving the atmosphere of the time. Unfortunately, those rooms are only for viewing, not dining. I don’t know much about soba myself, so I can’t make careless comments, but it had a firm texture and went down wonderfully smoothly. The sauce may be a little strong. Honestly, I couldn’t really detect much soba aroma. The soba cooking water didn’t have a particularly strong soba aroma either, so I don’t know whether this is good soba. Still, I think being able to eat that soba at an affordable price in a nice atmosphere is enough.
