very modest place but serve as midway station between. 旭川 and 稚內，menu is either curry rice or soya ramen . They do have a seasonal berry gelato that is well worth a try. This town is the ammonite fossil capital of Jspsn and you can touch a real large specimen on a chair next to the entrance to save you a trip to the eco museum in town

There are few restaurants around, so this was a help. I thought it was an ordinary diner, but they also have various stamina menu items, and I could feel their dedication. I ordered the stamina horumon ramen. I felt the amount of horumon was small, but the mildly spicy soup has a taste you can't get at an ordinary diner. It was delicious! They have many other menu items, so I'll go again.

Visited 2026/2 I went about 40 minutes before closing. It was crowded and the rice dishes had run out, so I wanted to try something different and chose the miso horumon ramen. My ramen standards are strict, so I thought it was average, but the miso might have been better with curly noodles. There was little horumon, and the green onion was crisp and good, but the spiciness lingered afterward. The shop's atmosphere and the staff's service were good. Next time I'll try a donburi. During winter? they weren't serving soft serve.

Unfortunately, by the time I visited meals were over, so I only had soft serve. It's apparently made with raw milk from Nakagawa, which raised my expectations. It was delicious. The haskap soft serve was especially good, and the haskap sauce is wonderful. Recommended. I asked a staff member if this haskap sauce isn't sold in the shop, and they said it's rare these days so it isn't sold separately. So there's nothing for it but to eat the soft serve!
