It's down to the left from the first observation deck. It's maintained and has restrooms too. The cherry blossom festival was underway, with cherry blossoms in full bloom and yellow forsythia blooming beautifully too. Apparently there are food trucks during the daytime of the cherry blossom festival as well. You can also look out over Pinneshiri and the Ishikari Plain from this observation deck. During the cherry blossom festival, traffic restrictions are in place and the road is one-way.

You head up a narrow mountain road. There are observation decks 1 and 2, both with parking. If you come to see cherry blossoms, head straight to the 2nd observation deck. This one is larger, and food trucks come here too. There are more cherry trees, making them worth seeing. The first observation deck comes first, and a monster used to deter nuisance wildlife welcomes you there. This one is for those wanting to enjoy the view from the mountaintop, but it's a fair distance from here to the 2nd observation deck.

I was a little late and the cherry blossoms were over, but the view is wonderful! There's also an amusing wolf to keep nuisance wildlife away lol.

I went in the evening on the last day of the cherry blossom festival, but apparently the blossoms had already finished this year. If they had been blooming, I'm sure the cherry blossom scenery would have been beautiful. During the festival, traffic restrictions were in place, so you went up the mountain road one-way and down on the way back. There are few toilets. Perhaps because it's on a mountain, it was quite windy, so depending on the weather, bringing an extra layer might be a good idea.

【2024.5.4】 With the unseasonable warmth, the cherry blossoms were past their peak, but there were still quite a lot of visitors. Pinneshiri was beautifully visible too. A food truck from the Shintotsukawa takoyaki shop 「なこたこ」 was there as well, and the soft, melty takoyaki was incredibly delicious😊 Next time I'll go buy some at the shop. This nature park becomes one-way only during cherry blossom season and is easy to stop at by car, so do visit during cherry blossom season👋 There were stuffed baby deer and bear toys, so I took a souvenir photo😊
