A cafe inside ハイジ牧場, where you can try various activities. The restaurant is made from a remodeled old train, full of retro charm. It's on a hill at the farm, so the view is really good! Apparently the air conditioning had broken that day, and the heat was devastating, with everyone at the farm groaning about it. But opening the windows in this train let in a nice breeze and felt comfortable. The menu has sheep rice bowls, udon, ramen, curry, takoyaki, and shaved ice—the kind of lineup you'd find at a beach hut. I ordered a sheep rice bowl and cold ramen, but the ramen was definitely hiyashi chuka. The sheep rice bowl had tender meat and tasted delicious. Since it was hot, I also ordered a cold drink, but after ordering they brought out ice-cold water too, so if you don't have any, perhaps the staff will bring some if you ask? Come here if you'd like a light meal while enjoying scenery typical of Hokkaido.

It's in just the right spot after you've finished exploring and playing around the grounds. It's on a small hill, so the view is good. Ordered a sheep rice bowl and a kids' lunch. It's what you'd call a jingisukan rice bowl. It was quite delicious. The kids' lunch was curry. My son finished all of it too.

A small cafe space. The seating uses an old railway passenger carriage. Main dishes include shoyu ramen, curry rice, tempura udon, spaghetti napolitan, and takoyaki; side dishes include smoked eggs and an assorted sausage platter. Drinks include drinking yogurt, orange juice, oolong tea, iced coffee, and nonalcoholic beer. Desserts include soft serve, cream soda, and shaved ice. They used to serve bottled beer too, but no longer do.

There's nothing special on the menu. I think the prices are fair.

The jingisukan restaurant on these grounds is very delicious. They have chicken too, tender and tasty. I don't usually like jingisukan that much, but it's delicious here. It's on the grounds of ハイジ牧場.
