A fairly pleasant restaurant, and the food was quite satisfying. I've been to several kappo restaurants in Nakajima-cho, and none of them have been a letdown.

It gives the impression of an expensive restaurant, but it wasn't like that at all, and I was able to enjoy the meal.

The food is average for a small izakaya-style eatery (koryori-ya), and that's all there is to it. The service is bad. The server puts plates down with a clatter and clears them noisily. I complained that the call bell provided at the raised tatami seating didn't ring because of a bad contact, and I got a reply along the lines of "I think it's fine, try pressing it with some spirit," which shocked me. Wouldn't you normally replace it? The look of the shop and the service didn't match, and it felt off.

A really delicious sukiyaki restaurant. You must go.
