Visited on our wedding anniversary to fulfill my wife's request to try 「じゃこと漬物のガーリック焼き飯」, something she had wanted for over a decade. It's often fully booked, so reserve early (about 2 weeks ahead). The assorted skewers come with 3 seasonings, and it's best to eat them as recommended. There were many unusual dishes, including sansho-grilled tuna, umeboshi tempura, fried octopus chunks with ponzu, and oyster Yanagawa—truly creative cuisine. The 「じゃこと漬物のガーリック焼き飯」 was fragrant and satisfying too!

You can enjoy delicious Japanese food! It might not be enough for those who prioritize portion size, but every dish is carefully prepared and very satisfying! Delicious food with delicious drinks🍺🍶 The conversation really flows. It felt like a Japanese restaurant for grown-ups, and I loved the atmosphere! We used it for a company farewell party. Even with more than 10 people, they provided chair seating, making for a very relaxed gathering. The food was distinctive and delicious too.

The katsuo tataki was listed as recommended, but the freshness… The grilled skewers came with wine soy sauce, herb salt, and another seasoning I forgot, to use as you like. The meat wasn't even salted, so it became boring toward the end. There was supposedly rice-bran-pickled shishamo, but it was just ordinary shishamo.

It's a popular restaurant in 室蘭, so it may be full at night without a reservation. It's reasonably priced, with both seafood and meat to enjoy. They also accommodate small gatherings.
