My husband and I were looking for dinner after sunset in the autumn and stumbled upon this restaurant on google maps. We were pleasantly surprised by the casually elegant atmosphere - it is a place loved by locals. We had no idea its run by a renowned chef either; great price point too.

The crispiness of the tempura makes your tongue marvel. I usually come for dinner, but this time it was lunch with a set meal and it was very delicious. At lunchtime the miso soup is akadashi miso soup. This time I also had anago tempura, which was light and crispy, delicious, and moving. When I was young, I was moved watching the master of Sonobe compete against Chef Sakai on TV. A photo from that time is also displayed, so please experience the various ways of enjoying it at the shop.

Delicious～ the seasoning was elegant and good. The shop was quiet so I could relax. The temperature inside was just right, neither hot nor cold.

There seems to be parking for only about 3~4 cars in front of the shop. An old-established Japanese restaurant that serves reliably good dishes. Tempura, eel, and seafood seem to be the mainstay. I went for lunch, and it was a delicious tempura set meal. The lunch menu lets you enjoy authentic Japanese food at a reasonable price. If I have the chance I'd like to enjoy the evening session too. "Sakura-tei" right next door also seems to be an affiliated shop. Inside there are about 10 counter seats and several tatami rooms, and there seem to be tatami rooms on the 2nd floor too.

I went for lunch. The inside of the shop is a bit dark, but I enjoyed the food. Next time I'll go for dinner.
