This is a super local ramen shop that has been open for over 20 years. It's all counter seating set around the kitchen area. The menu is on the wall, which includes curry, miso and spicy miso ramen among other flavours. You can also order rice and gyoza. The service is quick and efficient. The ramen is delicious and good value for money. The shop is open all day, so is good for a late lunch.

Amazing little place! Ramen and Gyoza were freshly made in front of you. We were in the area for three nights and came back each night! Ambiance is also very nice and authentic❤️

Uncle was very nice. He puts heart into all his dishes. The gyoza is sooo big and yummy, full of filling.

I stopped in for dinner while touring 北海道. The retro Showa-era restaurant makes me feel relaxed. The 白湯ラーメン + 餃子 + 半ライス set was delicious and reasonably priced at 1,100円 these days. The handmade gyoza were large too, with chewy wrappers and a perfect combination of garlic aroma and crisp garlic chives. I'm looking forward to visiting again next year.

Today I visited my family in 室蘭 for the first time in a while, so in search of delicious ramen once again, I came to 十八番, whose name caught my attention! Looking at the menu, its wonderfully well-worn condition was great, and the interior was the kind of good old-fashioned place I love! Since it had been a while, I ordered 野菜チャーシューメン in curry flavor（1100円）, while my family ordered 当店特製パイタンラーメン（750円）, 味噌ラーメン（650円）, and 正油ラーメン（650円）! The food arrived. First I took a sip of the soup, and the thick, strongly flavored broth clung to the chewy noodles, doubling the deliciousness. The plentiful bean sprouts and wood ear mushrooms were tasty too, and even the boiled egg that later emerged from hiding was delicious. Another delicious meal today 😋🍴💕! As I kept eating, the soup became thinner and its flavor turned into something like soup curry. It seemed like a bowl that would taste great with rice too ♪
