A simple, calm Western-style restaurant run solo by a kind-looking master. I had the black katsu curry. It wasn't too spicy but the spices came through well, with a richness like demi-glace sauce—truly a Western-style restaurant curry, and very delicious. That day the black katsu curry was limited to 10 servings at 500 yen! It seems there are always daily specials posted on the sign in front of the shop. A recommended spot where you can enjoy authentic Western-style dishes at reasonable prices!

There was a small fan near the entrance. There are 2 air conditioners, but they barely work. Apparently the light-meal café that was in Nagasakiya before 2012 moved here in 2013. When Nagasakiya was still open I'd sometimes go eat there, but this was my first time eating here since the move. Before the move I think the dishes were frozen food with a little extra effort, but now they seem to be made from scratch. Seating: 6 tables for 4, 1 table for 6. To order, you write on the memo paper on the table with a ballpoint pen and hand it in at the counter. Water is self-service. Prices include tax. Smoking is allowed at all seats (there are ashtrays on the tables). They seem to serve alcohol too.

Both the pork chop and the beef stew were delicious. The beef stew especially was meltingly tender and full of big chunks of meat—very satisfying. According to the staff, they pick good ingredients, so they're confident in their meat dishes.

Had the pork chop for lunch Ψ( 'ч' ☆) They let me eat until I was stuffed. The system is that ordering a large rice up front costs extra, but asking for a "refill" partway through doesn't📢😮💬 The meat was jiggly, hot, and thick—delicious😋 It comes with coffee after the meal, so I recommend it. (*^^*)

Every Friday is the sashimi set meal, and the sashimi boat platter alone is amazing, but it also came with a plate of small pork cutlet and salad, a small side dish, and today even tempura of some mountain vegetable (name unknown)😃 I'm totally stuffed. At the end it came with a drink, and I had iced coffee. Amazing value. If it went non-smoking I'd give it one more star…
