If you get a chance, this is a must stop for Ramen. Small out of the way Ramen shop with the best curry Ramen I've ever had.
View on GoogleThis place had the best reviews among other ramen restaurants within the vicinity, which was still opened at 9pm. The restaurant is surprisingly small and we almost couldn't find it. The owner was very welcoming. He gave us an English menu and was very kind to explain the menu and portion. The ramen was delicious, especially the rich miso ramen. We also tried roe with rice, available only in October.
View on GoogleToday I came to Muroran again in search of delicious ramen and visited “Gentlemen,” which an acquaintance told me was good! I came with my family again today, so they ordered koku miso ramen(900円), while I ordered cheese curry ramen(1100円)and the ramen set(300円)with gyoza, rice, and an accompanying side! The food arrived. First I took a sip of the broth; the thick, rich curry soup was sweet and delicious, but as I kept eating, it turned out to have quite a spicy kick! The noodles were chewy and the curry broth clung to them really well. Dip the gyoza in the broth and you get gyoza curry—delicious! The gyoza were also delicious dipped in sauce and placed on freshly cooked rice. Another delicious meal today😋🍴💕!
View on GoogleThe curry ramen is delicious! Other famous restaurants in Muroran were good too, but this one was the best. The broth wasn't thick; it was light and flowing, and the distinct spiciness was perfectly balanced. When it comes to Hokkaido's regional ramen, I think Muroran curry ramen definitely comes after Sapporo and Asahikawa. (Sorry, Hakodate shio ramen.) I wonder why such delicious, distinctive regional ramen isn't more famous.
View on GoogleI wanted to try this thing called curry ramen for the first time, so I visited before closing on May 3 during Golden Week. The restaurant was run by 2 women, and about 2 customers were already there eating curry ramen. We ordered curry ramen too, and since the broth would splash however we ate it, we asked for paper aprons, put them on, and got ready for battle. The aroma of spices drifting over while we waited made our hungry stomachs even hungrier. I wanted to eat already! Before long, the curry ramen arrived. I put my hands together before eating, then took a sip of the curry broth! Rich, spicy curry broth—delicious! The curry ramen, with the broth clinging to the noodles, was so delicious I couldn't stop my chopsticks. It was so good I drank all the broth too and was drenched in sweat. When paying, we chatted with the 2 women, and the conversation turned to the car we'd arrived in. Actually, we came from Kyushu, and that was handmade! After an enjoyable conversation that surprised them, we left the restaurant happy and full.
