Super nice father and son, plus amazing food! We had whale sashimi and maybe the best sushi of my life and rice wine and non-alcoholic drinks too i really enjoyed the food and company. They also have a huge collection of premium, Japanese whiskies, if you are willing to indulge. They basically enjoy your company and you always have someone to talk to (in Japanese or other languages). And we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! I definitely recommend going there, no reservation needed (unless weekend then maybe)
View on GoogleHad a lovely lunch today with my mom. We popped in for a visit while’s driving down to hakotate and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the chef was and the food was great too! The chef didn’t speak much English but we were able to communicate through Google Translate and gesturing, and he was very lovely.
View on Google(Presumably) a father and son running a little sushi restaurant. Great sushi, friendly service. They offer Whale bacon here, if you're interested in trying whale. Will definitely be visiting again! Cash only, parking on site.
View on GoogleAmazing sushi restaurant~ There are only 7 spots at the sushi counter for an intimate experience with the father & son Chefs. They are funny, friendly and caring. There were over 20 different kinds of seafood and all very fresh, obtained locally from the close proximity in Hokkaido. The recommendation would be to go for a set of sushi or sashimi, then order other kinds of seafood that might interest you. Alternatively, ask the chef for suggestions.
View on GoogleOne of the best sushi restaurant!! Sushi rice was perfectly cooked, shiny and very testy!! Ingredients are very fresh and well prepared. The chef is very considerable since we r travelling with young kid so he cut the sushi piece into two pieces to suit the kids bite ;)) Language is not a problem here since they are trying and willing to help tho cannot speak much, have some english menu with picture as well. Uni is very creamy and sweet no fishy smell at all. Hokki shellfish is very good too. Price is very cheap considered we ordered abalone and so many more :)) Highly recommended!!
