A city museum hence it highlights locals who became prolific artists. There are some nice works displayed here and we enjoyed the current exhibitions.

Works depicting the four seasons of 紋別 are exhibited.

This is a free-admission branch of the municipal museum, exhibiting wonderful works by 紋別-born 斉藤顕二 and painter 村瀬真治, who was born in 横浜 and has ties to 紋別. From July １４, a new permanent corner was established to display wonderful paintings and graphic works by artist 竹澤イチロー, a native of local 上渚滑. Inside, information 💁 posters advertise exhibitions at the municipal museum and museums and art galleries around Hokkaido. Other events and group activities are held in addition to exhibitions. The 紋別文化連盟 office is also located here, and exhibitions organized by the cultural federation are held as well. With the establishment of the permanent 竹澤イチロー corner, I hope this becomes a wonderful downtown art gallery even more closely connected with the region and local community, attracting many visitors from outside the area to appreciate the works on display.
