I visited with a reservation for the first seating at 11:30〜. I arrived 30 minutes early, but they were already inviting guests with 11:30 reservations inside in order, and we were called by name and seated at 11:10. So apparently it's better to arrive early even with a reservation. It said we had to leave at 12:30, so I thought, only 1 hour⁈ Now I understand what that meant. I had 牛丼. It was a carefully prepared set meal that conveyed their thoughtfulness, with a lovely dashi flavor. The high school students seem to have a lot on their plates, studying and working on Sundays too, but I want to support them. Thank you for the meal.

First visit in 2025.03♪ An acquaintance told me reservations are hard to get, so I was really lucky to get one! Bright, energetic, and polite service, plus delicious dishes full of dashi flavor, using plenty of rice grown in 三笠市 and local ingredients☆ The rolled omelet was topped with 白老牛のしぐれ, and I thought the cooking was really high quality^ - ^ Next door you can also buy bread and baked treats as souvenirs. I ate a クッキーシュー on my way out, and it was extremely delicious too☆ I got to chat with several of the high school students, and they were all cheerful and seemed happy to talk. It was such a lovely place!!

☆To all the students at まごころきっちん☆ I finally, finally got to visit〜♪ So happy〜 it really is reservation-only, and finding an opening is so hard^^; This time I also waited a month and a half before finally getting in. Well, the opening hours are limited too, so waiting months is probably unavoidable… They're students, so of course they have school schedules too, which must make available dates hard to come by… I made my reservation on the NET. Apparently they also take them by phone. Just as I once did, lots of customers showed up that day thinking, maybe we can get in〜… If you're lucky and there's a canceled seat, you might get to eat… Also, since Halloween was approaching that day, they were selling dessert cakes made by the students, so there were loads of customers〜 sweat Anyway, the restaurant was busy too, with customers coming and going at different seating times. Reception, seating, serving tea, explaining the dishes, taking payment—everything was handled by different students☆ That day there was only one menu item, “青春御膳,” but that was the set meal I'd wanted to try from the start♪ I want to enjoy some youth too, haha Every flavor was truly delicate, and I was moved by the gentle cooking that values dashi, just as the school aims to do☆ It also made me really happy that the ingredients were locally sourced and from within Hokkaido! They told me I could have more rice, so I ended up eating two bowls of new-harvest rice〜 there were so many dishes(^o^) There was plenty of variety, including venison, and I really loved the school's proud だし巻き卵〜 The pudding for dessert after the meal had a flavor and texture I'd never experienced before♪ I also uploaded photos of the dish explanation pamphlet, so please take a look☆ Anyway, these energetic high school students are working hard. It really makes you want to support them! I'd like to go again next year! It was extremely delicious! Keep up the good work, everyone☆彡 Thank you for the meal(_ _)

A restaurant inside “三笠高校生レストラン MIKASA COOKING ESSOR” where you can eat dishes prepared by students in the 三笠高校 cooking club. Since the café, “Cherie,” and this restaurant are operated by students, they are closed on school weekdays and open irregularly on weekends, public holidays, and during spring, summer, and autumn school breaks. Dining is strictly by reservation, so advance booking is required.
