It's old overall, but I felt it was properly maintained. The staff were good, and all the ladies in the dining area were cheerful and treated me well. The evening menu was also fine considering the price. Draft beer at 500 yen was reasonable, too. The bath was old but good. Don't go expecting the service level of a hotel or ryokan.

This place was specified for some business I had, so I stayed with 2 meals included. I arrived without any prior knowledge, but ended up liking it a lot. I didn't photograph all of dinner, but there were many dishes, carefully prepared with a seasonal feel, and I was satisfied. For breakfast, you could choose Japanese or Western. I chose Japanese. Besides these, there were natto, nori, milk, juice, coffee, and so on. I was full again. Amenities are provided beside reception, and you take what you need. It's not a hot spring, but the bath is available 24 hours. Day-use bathing is just 270 yen! The service was kind, too, and you could feel the charm of the countryside. I'll also post photos of the campground and ski area on the grounds. The dog runs separated for large and medium-sized dogs looked nice, too~.

The building is showing its age, but it's kept very clean. I stayed with dinner and breakfast included. Generous portions and delicious! Such a good deal. The bath is on the hot side, odorless, and feels light. It was lovely and relaxing to chat with someone in the tub about things like where we were going tomorrow. My key point is the washing machine and dryer; there's one of each. They help because you can pack less. Excellent value for money! It was my first stay at a public lodge, but I recommend this one~
