Had 海老ラーメン🍜 and 海鮮塩ラーメン🍜 with a friend. They were light, with easy-to-drink soup, and quite delicious. It appears to be run by an elderly man and woman. The place somehow felt heartwarming.

I had ホタテ塩ラーメン at ラーメンこころ. It is along a prefectural road near the former JR station in 増毛町. Apparently the shop was not open during months 1〜2, so I was lucky today. The piping-hot soup had a gentle seafood broth, with ３ scallops, １ peeled shrimp, chashu, wakame, shinachiku, naruto, and half an egg. The bowl was thoroughly warmed too; although the lady works alone, she does careful work. Looks like I will be coming back😋

We parked in the public parking lot in 増毛 and strolled along the hot main street of 増毛; the famous sushi restaurant had a long line We were after ramen rather than sushi We came to 『こころ』 We entered right at opening and ordered ホタテ塩ラーメン and エビ味噌ラーメン. Things seemed not to be going smoothly with preparation today, and the lady said, 『Sorry, it will take a little time』. I replied, 『That is fine』 Probably the water for boiling the noodles had not come to a boil m(_ _)m The ホタテ塩ラーメン had a large scallop, chashu, menma, wakame, naruto, and 1/2 a boiled egg A plain boiled egg rather than a seasoned egg（simmered egg）really feels like ramen from a seaside town(^.^) The エビ味噌ラーメン had a large shrimp, chashu, wood ear mushrooms, menma, and 1/2 a boiled egg You might imagine エビ味噌ラーメン as rich miso ramen with shrimp extract, but this was a light red miso soup, simple and delicious. This is how ramen in a seaside town should be; this ramen you never tire of eating is perfect for a hot summer

Visited on the weekend. I went around the restaurants near 増毛駅 looking for seafood, but they all had queues, so I gave up. Then I found a ramen restaurant with no one waiting, and since I was hungry, I went in. We ordered the recommended ホタテ塩ラーメン and 海老味噌ラーメン, and both were delicious. Since I had not expected much, I felt I had found a winner with the first sip of soup. People were waiting when I finished and left, so perhaps my timing was good, but I was glad to have found a good restaurant. Visited again during Obon 2025. Had a large ホタテ塩ラーメン. It was just as delicious as last year.

I ordered ホタテ塩ラーメン(large) and エビ味噌󠄀ラーメン. The エビ味噌󠄀ラーメン has a distinctive shrimp smell. Also, the ramen is piping hot, so peeling the shrimp shells is hot work too. It tasted delicious, but I do not think it will appeal to everyone. The ホタテ塩ラーメン has ３ scallops, peeled shrimp, chashu, and other ingredients. The scallops had good flavor and texture! I think ホタテ塩ラーメン will appeal to everyone. When I visited, a lady who was not the owner was running it alone. She was fun and easy to chat with.
