We had both the hot and cold soba with tempura. The tempura was light and crispy. Ingredients were fresh and we particularly loved the prawns, corn and mushroom. The soba broth and sauce were a little salty to our liking. At the end of our meal, we were served with the water used to boil the soba which is nutritious to clear our palette. The service was swift and excellent despite full house.

The soba was the star in this place. It was chewy with a little bite with a nice texture unlike most soba. The dipping soba selection is better to my liking as the slightly cold dipping sauce highlights the texture and slight al dente-ness of the soba. The tempura is decently good. The true ‘star’ are the soba and buckwheat tea they served. Quaint and traditional atmosphere gives this place a nice homemade vibe. P.S: This place is cash only.

Stopped by for lunch a few weeks ago and we managed to get a seat without waiting. Their seasonal oyster tempura is really good and the soba were chewy and delicious. Service is efficient and quick.

I enjoyed this soba restaurant very much. Their tempura is prepared just right, lightly breaded. There is always a lineup. The restaurant opens at 11 am and is usually full by 11:08.

Soba were chewy n delicious. We had prawns tempura. Fresh and crispy. Tempura vegetable included corn (which is unusual for Tempura) and pumpkin. Both delicious. Long queue. Prepared to wait.
