The best place we ate at, fried rice and ramen was unbeatable. With only one toilet and limited seats. I sat that’s the biggest problem here, crowd is never ending.

It’s been my 2nd time and I’m really loving the place. The food’s really good. The proportion was good. The broth was nice. Simple and tasty. Would recommend.

There are numerous authentic Japanese restaurants dotted around Kutchan town, but randomly coming across this ramen joint was perhaps a truly unexpected surprise and pleasure. Watching what I can only guess to be the matriarch of the family, personally preparing each bowl of ramen, and seeing the entire family working together to serve up what is possibly one of the most delicious bowls of super spicy miso soup ramen I have ever eaten, with 5 soft and chunky slices of freshly boiled pork slices (I saw Grandma pulling out of the pot in the kitchen a freshly boiled slab of pork!) Unbelievably cheap, considering the quality, and accompanied by five soft, exquisitely tasty gyoza. Cannot recommend this place enough! (Warning: the miso based soup I ordered was a little bit on the salty side)

Excellent family owned ramen restaurant. The real deal. Limited English, but enough to get the job done. Off street parking next to it. Standard ramen 1100 yen, so a good price, especially for what you get. Absolutely recommend. Menus also in English.

Wonderful Gyoza!Especially Ume-Gyoza! We cannot come back here to these nice people and this intensive taste, so we had 2 servings each! So we cannot forget!
