Kutchan is a small station with facility for Hakodate JR train. You can see mountain Yutei from here. At end May or early July, you also can see cherry blossom at the surrounding areas of this station. Station have toilet facilities. Co op is nearby where you can purchase everyday belongings and ready to eat food. Have a good day.

Taxi from Hirafu to Kutchan around 3000 yen , bus 390 yen . Free wifi station, great information. Bus timetables normally match well with connecting train timetables.

Your access to Niseko as there are no transportation From Hirafu station We got from airport (3:30pm)to Otaru then to Kutchan Station (6:00pm) It’s more comfortable than going by coach Then hire a taxi to upper Hirafu village accommodation
