Dining with a mountain view (but can’t see after sunset). Service is good and the food freshness is great. We ordered many seafood items, and it all taste good. The crab congee is nice and can be even better with a more stronger taste. Tempura is good and the king crab tempura is also nice. Overall, recommended.

It was a lovely restaurant ; great staff led by a wonderful manager Torito( sorry may be missspelt) . Service was exemplary, a big shout out to Tyler who was most professional courteous n friendly n also suggested to us dishes to order…. Food was amazing!! One of the best Izakayas we have been to to date!! Well done Kumo! We shall be back … For anyone going to Niseko n looking for a good Izakaya, look no further!

Went there this evening with my husband, an amazing experience overall! Was served by two lovely young men, Nathan and Vernon; both were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a lovely chat with them both, only to find out it was their first time serving at the restaurant - honestly the service was so great you couldn’t tell. Food was exceptional, and those Hokkaido fries were to die for, we had to get a double portion. Overall a grand time. Thanks to everyone there!

During my recent trip to Niseko, I had the pleasure of dining at Kumo Restaurant for our family christmas eve dinner , an exceptional spot that truly elevated my winter experience. Located right in upper Hirafu, this restaurant not only offers delicious meals but also some of the most breathtaking views of Mt. Yōtei and the surrounding snowy slopes The menu blends creative Japanese cuisine and Hokkaido flavors, with a variety of dishes crafted from fresh local ingredients. We ordered spare ribs , gindara saiko yaki , hokkaido hotate (scallop) , kumo beef wrap , dengaku nasu . Everything was flavorful and the food arrived very fast after ordering. The staff at Kumo were warm and welcoming. They made excellent recommendations . This is the kind of restaurant that stays in your memory long after you leave Niseko. Highly recommended for families, and friends alike! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was just as perfect as our last visit, came back for the beef wrap, incredible. Great wine list and our server Sampson had good knowledge and was able to assist us in choosing a lovely bottle. Highly recommend the restaurant and special mention to Sampson
