We did the hot pot, some karage, oysters, and a few other things. All delicious, and a great variety of food to keep us on our toes throughout the evening. Overall a great dining experience, that also felt cozy and secluded from the hustle and bustle of Hirafu.

This is a very friendly little restaurant with friendly and courteous staff. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Very much worth recommending.

This is an intimate izakaya joint so definitely need to get reservations. Everything is meant to be smaller portions to share, but we ordered 8 dishes for two people and still felt hungry afterwards. This included the beef shabu shabu, which was still quite small even with a side of rice. The food quality was very good and service was friendly -- just expect to order more than you think you'd need.

While there are so many tourist traps in Niseko this place is legit. It is not a fancy place but this is the place to go if you want a real homemade Japanese countryside Izakaya food. Service was impeccable and we absolutely loved the ambiance / atmosphere.

A very local and unique experience. We had to specifically make our way to Hirafu for the meal but it was worth it. The restaurant is very close to the Hirafu Intersection. It opened at 6. Before that, we had to wait outside in the snow. But it was worth the wait. There was this normal seating area and this tatami area. For a more local experience, go for the tatami area, which we had. Though it meant we had to kneel to eat, we were eager to try the local way. Our table was right next to a cast iron wood-burning fireplace / burner. Which made the atmosphere more ambient. We ordered the sashimi bowl, oysters, dumplings and the wagyu beef shabu shabu. The sashimi and oysters were fresh and delicious. The beef was really tender. Just that the food was on the pricier side. The overall experience was really delightful.
