We had a wonderful time at The Kitchen. It’s a hidden gem in Niseko that offers a relaxed vibe and friendly service that you don't always find in the area. The food was the highlight—truly delicious and executed to perfection. It easily became our favorite spot of the entire trip.

Went for a casual dinner and it was so good! I am still dreaming of the clams special which we devoured without taking a photo. The duck confit was sizable yet tender and the beef perfectly done. They toasted a nice gluten free rice bread for me. Very nice to see Chef Kamimura and his wife creating and serving delicious food again. The Hirafu village location next to Chatrium is convenient. I wish there was a Kitchen in my home city!

Kitchen is a rare find in Niseko, especially among the many overpriced “fine-dining” spots in the area. It was our favourite restaurant on this trip. We loved the food, the service, and the relaxed vibe. The wine list is solid, and if you ask in advance, there is also a private list with some real gems. The chef is warm and welcoming, and the head sommelier truly knows her stuff, with excellent wine service throughout. The tasting menu is very reasonably priced, yet it turned out to be our best meal in Niseko.

Amazing service and a showcase of local Hokkaido ingredients. If the Michelin Guide reviewed on the island, this place would surely earn a star. The onion soup, wagyu, and scallops were true standouts.
