This restaurant is a must in Niseko. Jam is an incredibly small but warm and welcoming restaurant. The staffs is friendly and very helpful. Food is awesome and prices very reasonable. Had an awesome night hanging out here. Food serving is yummy and very authentic. Bookings a good idea

This place really left a bad taste in my mouth. Made a reservation for 3 people but my sister got sick so she couldn’t make it to dinner. We told the staff about the situation and they informed us that we would be charged a 5000 yen cancellation fee if we didn’t order 5000 yen worth of food per person (so 15k total). Why risk a bad review on Google for an honest cancellation?? It’s not like we completely no showed. 2 of the 3 people in the party came and ate a decent amount of food. To put pressure on customers to order a certain amount is just beyond ludicrous to me. Especially when it’s due to things that are beyond your control. The food is good though. If only we didn’t have this tiny negative experience, this would have been a 5-star review.

This will be my third time visiting bar Jam in 3 years. We made a reservation ahead of time for a group of 14. We had such a great time there and ordered so much food and drinks. The food was so delicious and came out so quickly after ordering on an iPad. They played awesome music and even took song requests. We ended the night with the staff bringing out complimentary shots for us and also drinking it with us too. The service was so amazing and they were all so sweet! I highly recommend coming to bar Jam while visiting.

Good atmosphere, and the servers were really nice and attentive. Really no complaints about the food either, it’s just as it should be for bar food; we had the fried chicken, miso eggplant, fried squid, and yakisoba noodles which were our favorite. I would say it’s worth going if you are in Hirafu and can get a reservation.

This is hands down the best deep fried chicken skin we’ve ever had, order for one ended up 4 plates. The atmosphere was good but it was a bit long of waiting for foods, service charge for us was a bit expensive but compared to what we received was so good. Would definitely come back here for deep fried chicken skin 100%
