The seafoods and Japanese sake are so good. The waiters are also kind and friendly. The reason why this restaurant has such a low review score would be that some waiters are not good at speakung English. Don't worry, they have English menu.

Food is delicious, authentic Japanese Izakaya men and atmosphere, plus the staff are friendly too. A personal must-go when every time in Niseko.

Maybe it was because it was full on a Friday night. About an hour from sit down to food - seems the floor staff are overwhelmed by sheer volume so maybe better when not so full or maybe some training needed. Or maybe local Izakaya style is simply laid back and relaxed pace. What came out of the kitchen was ok. Maybe it does well as it is a great location with many passing by from lower to middle and upper village .

Food was ok. Service was unfriendly, slow and inefficient. We had to wait 15 min to see a waiter again after we were seated (and they only came after we were waving frantically). We would have left if we ha had the energy. We had to wander around the restaurant to find our own soy sauce. Food was not bad - but not good enough to make up for the service. We would not go again.

Here’s a simple math problem to describe my experience here at Izakaya senchou: It took me 6 minutes to write this review. Multiply that amount of time by 5 and that’s how long it took to get drinks. The only plus side to my experience at this Restaurant is that the service was so absent that I could openly smoke my vape at my table. Also my friend spit out his sushi roll it was so bad. There is better food here! Go find it!
