Cozy and comfortable place

I chose miso ramen (thin noodles). They have thin and thick noodles, and you can choose freely. Regionally, “thin noodles” are the norm in eastern Hokkaido (the Kushiro–Nemuro area), across salt, soy sauce, and miso varieties. Kushiro has fierce ramen competition, but “ラーメンさんぱち” is a fairly safe, middle-of-the-road ramen restaurant, and one I really love.

This was my first visit to 38, which I'd been curious about for a while. I ordered miso with thick noodles (Sapporo noodles), a large portion, firm noodles, and a stronger flavor. The ramen arrived shortly afterward. The miso flavor was slightly sweet, potentially addictive, and very delicious. The noodles felt a little different from what are called Sapporo egg noodles? But I really enjoyed them♪ This definitely deserves another visit. The miso was ¥1030 plus ¥150 for a large portion, and I received a snack when paying♪ A sign said, “Diluting broth is available for those who find the soup too strong,” but is that like the broth used to dilute tsukemen dipping soup? I ordered stronger seasoning, but enjoyed it. There's also a large free parking lot.

You can choose thin or thick noodles, noodle firmness, and soup strength. The complimentary grated garlic was no longer available. The food comes out incredibly fast. It had been a while since I'd had さんぱち, and it was delicious.
