Before my trip, I had heard that their pastries 🥖 were delicious, so I decided to check this place out. Everything lived up to the hype. The pastries 🥐 were really tasty, and what I liked most was how they prepared the dough—it was fantastic. Prices are also very low, around 250 yen each. You can take items to go, and they also have spots where you can eat on the premises. They serve coffee ☕ and other drinks like milk or orange 🍊 juice, which are also very cheap—orange juice, for example, is 200 yen. Also, if you’re staying at nearby hotels 🏨, like the Tsuruga, you can get a card for a 10% discount on everything at this bakery. Highly recommended.

We went around noon for a snack and saw the shelves were empty and they were down to their last few cream puffs. While eating their very delicious caramel cream puff, they started slowly to bring out their fresh baked goods. We kept buying new bread as it came out because what we were eating was very hot, delicious and fluffy. What was supposed to be a snack before we drove to lunch.. Became our lunch! Their bread and cream puffs were delicious.

While exploring Akanko Onsen, we stumbled upon Pan de Pan and were immediately drawn to the enticing lunch sets shown on the menu. We went in and ordered without hesitation! First off, the portion sizes were extremely generous! The lunch set included a sizzling hot plate of the main dish, rice, a small salad, and a cup of soup. This was everything we could ever want for a satisfying meal! I opted for the burger steak with grilled vegetables, and it was simply excellent! The patty was thick, juicy, and bursting with flavor, accompanied by colorful vegetables and a delectable dipping sauce. My companion chose the pork steak in a tomato-based sauce, which was tender, rich, and cooked to perfection. Both dishes arrived hot and were beautifully presented. The soup and salad were delightful additions, providing a refreshing contrast to the hearty main courses. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Cream puffs were damn good, generous filling fortunately. We had mont blanc and pumpkin. As for the bun, the one with a chestnut on middle top of the bun, it was so soft, fluffy and tasted so delicious. Very special flavour..

Great bakery just in the middle of town. It has a cafe setting with a small gift shop at the side. They sell bread, cakes and coffee here. Great place for a short rest after viewing some of the attractions nearby. Highly recommend their melon bun and cream puff. Its so fluffy on the inside.
