A scenic spot designated as one of the New Eight Views of Onbetsu. It's located inside a cemetery called Onbetsu Park Cemetery. The entrance is hard to find. The entrance is along National Route ３８. You can see the Pacific Ocean and trains on the Nemuro Main Line from the observation deck, so it seems to be a photography spot for train enthusiasts too. Free parking is available.

Drive into Onbetsu Park Cemetery and head to the far end of the upper section. It's a dead end where 1 car can just about manage a multipoint turn. It's a lonely place since it's a cemetery with no one around, but the view is good.

A vast sea view stretches out before you❗ The cemetery facing the sea is striking. I wonder if they're thinking of their hometown.

There's a very beautiful view beside the cemetery.

I visited on 2025/08/11. It was said to be one of the Eight Views of Onbetsu, but the weather was bad, so the coastline scenery was underwhelming, which was disappointing. Also, I never expected it to be beside a cemetery…💦
