I saw the Ishikawa Takuboku section and exhibits about writers from Kushiro. Admission is free, so I can't ask for too much, but while I was viewing the exhibits, a staff member and another person kept talking loudly, which was annoying.
View on GoogleThe person at reception was very kind The previous day, even though I arrived 15 minutes before closing, they explained everything carefully. When I returned the next day, the explanatory materials from yesterday and the handover to another staff member were perfect, which really impressed me.
View on GoogleIshikawa Takuboku is a great poet of Kushiro. The memorial museum has free admission and is worth a visit!
View on GoogleIt's on the 6th floor of the building that houses the library. There were exhibits of manuscripts and first editions by literary figures connected to Kushiro, introductions to the history of Kushiro literature and current literary activities, and novels set in Kushiro. The special exhibition during my visit was "Writers Who Visited Kushiro.
