Habataki Hiroba A path on the way to the observation deck There are about two long benches where you can rest. There are boards with trivia about red-crowned cranes, itou, and so on. By the way, the itou is apparently a relative of salmon. The air on the way here was so fresh, it felt great.

On the way here we came across some tanuki cubs; when I quietly approached, they seemed used to people and came up to us on their own. The scenery's great too, the best!

The good view is at the Satellite Observatory further in. I visited in the evening, so I couldn't go. Next time.
