Visited to try Kushiro's specialty, Spakatsu. Spaghetti on a sizzling hot iron plate, topped with crispy tonkatsu. On top of that, it's generously covered in meat sauce, so it looks super hearty from the start. It comes out sizzling on the iron plate, which really whets your appetite. The katsu has a crisp coating and is satisfying to eat. The richness of the meat sauce combined with the toasty spaghetti makes it a flavor you keep eating. A hearty and highly satisfying dish. A local specialty you'll want to try at least once when you come to Kushiro. 🍝🐖

I visited “Dream” in Kushiro for lunch. I arrived around 12:30 on a weekday, but the place was already full, and I got in after waiting about 10 minutes. Being so popular that there's a line even on weekdays shows how much it's loved by locals. This time I ordered the famous Spakatsu. On a sizzling iron plate, spaghetti and plenty of meat sauce are topped with a freshly fried cutlet—a hearty yet well-balanced dish. The cutlet had a crispy coating and tender meat, and it paired perfectly with the meat sauce. It stayed piping hot and delicious to the very end. I can see why not only tourists but also locals come here regularly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy old-fashioned yoshoku in Kushiro.

Visited 25/3. It was just after 11 a.m. on a weekday, but the parking lot in front was already full and the inside was nearly full too. There are table seats and raised tatami seats. It looked like lots of people were ordering Spakatsu, so I ordered Spakatsu too. The heaping, thick-ish noodles were well coated with the cutlet and sauce, and it was delicious. It's served on an iron plate, so it stays piping hot to the end. There are lots of other menu items besides Spakatsu, so next time I'd like to try something different.

A shop that serves Kushiro's soul food deliciously. This time I ordered the Special, and my partner ordered a large Spakatsu. The large Spakatsu comes with extra sauce. The light meat sauce is really delicious ✨ Of course the iron plate is piping hot, so you can enjoy crispy noodles too. The Special is meat sauce spaghetti plus rice topped with sweet-savory seasoned pork. It's topped with a fried egg too, so it's super hearty. The meat is really tender and delicious too. A shop I'd like to visit again.

Had the Spakatsu. The iron plate was piping hot and the noodles even got grilled, which was fun and delicious. Truly Kushiro's soul food. It was a weekday, so the people around me were locals. Unfortunately it was the hottest day then, and there was no air conditioning so it was a bit hot, but there was a breeze, so we got through it fine.
