CAFÉ The Lucky Boots is a stylish space that suits "solo visitors" and "couples" who want to place themselves in a space a little different from daily life to change their mood and refresh. While taking in unique interior scenery you won't find anywhere else in Kushiro, and listening to the owner's selection of mainly ballads as background music, spend your time however you like. On your own, you can do remote work or computer work, lose yourself in thought, read, or study (especially those studying English can ask the owner about parts they don't understand). If you have someone to talk to, the owner, who is rich in life experience…

Everything about this place is absolutely perfect!!! Mr Funaki and his wife are the most amazing beautiful welcoming people I have met in Japan. I could have sat here forever listening to his amazing life stories and looking around the room at so many treasures. I drove 9 hours round trip to come visit this cafe and I will happily do that drive again many times over just to step foot in this incredible place.

I’m so happy I came across this place while I was walking around the neighborhood in Kushiro. The owner Fumio is truly one of the friendliest people I met during my time in Japan. He spent time living in the US and has incredible stories to tell. I really hope to visit again someday

I haven't yet had the pleasure of visiting, but I've just seen a video about the owner and truly wish him all the happiness in life. I hope to someday visit and have the chance to sit down and have a conversation. Best wishes from Australia :-)

I really love this place! The owner was so friendly and hospitable. I was surprised at how well he spoke English, and he is even teaching it. I'll come here again ☺️
