1 hr and 15 min cruise, stop by the small island which has the marimo (algae ball) museum. Nothing too special, I think it would be prettier in Autumn. What's good was that the ship was very stable.

Took the lake cruise in mid-Oct morning and it was only around 10C. The ride is about 50 minutes with 15 minutes on the marimo (moss ball) observation center. We were rewarded with the fall foliage along the way. Recommend bringing a good insulated jacket.

Check the schedule online as it changes throughout the year. I went yesterday and was able to go on a 15 minute trip while the boat is breaking the ice. It was busy - lots of tourists, but you get lovely views of the lake and Mt Oakan.

Nice serene boat ride across the beautiful lake akan to slow down our pace to appreciate nature. My elderly parents enjoyed it.
