Very delicious Hokkaido ramen.

It was more ordinary than I expected. I had the Iekei shoyu ramen. The flavor was strong, but I questioned whether the pork-bone and soy-sauce flavors really came through clearly. In 釧路, I personally think 麺屋 龍 has the best Iekei ramen, and considering the advantage of being able to eat it anywhere, I found myself thinking 山岡家 would do too. However, the free unlimited rice when you order ramen is a big plus, I think. Iekei ramen and rice really are a perfect match. The restaurant was tidy and felt clean, and I was able to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace.

Seems to be the easternmost Iekei shop. Bought tickets from the machine. Shoyu Iekei ramen 780円, nori topping 100円, and shredded white scallion 180円 on a separate plate. First, the prices are at least 50円 higher than in 関東. Even with free rice, this order goes over 1000円. I asked for firm noodles. As I was the first customer, the ramen arrived quickly. To start, I like the milky-style broth. The noodles were perhaps a little softer than I prefer. The chashu was small. Tasty though. Overall, I think Iekei is a rarity in this area. Still, I don't want people to think this is typical Iekei, and you can eat it a little cheaper in 関東. Thanks for the meal.

The flavor is definitely on the strong side, but not excessively so, and it's enjoyable. Since light ramen is the norm in 釧路, perhaps they're adjusting somewhat to local tastes? I think this is a pork-bone ramen you can comfortably recommend even to people who find 山●家's pork-bone smell too strong for their liking.

The kind of place where you buy a meal ticket at the entrance. I ordered the seemingly standard shoyu with firm noodles. (Everything else normal.) The bowl arrived so fast I barely had time to look around. Hmm, I felt the noodles were too hard. Maybe barikata edging toward harigane; I'm not sure, since I don't remember having thick noodles like that. Personally, the flavor was average, for better or worse. I could finish the broth, but the saltiness lingered. The smell mentioned in other reviews didn't seem bothersome for Iekei. If they served hardcore Iekei, it might be difficult for the local area to accept. It wasn't addictive, but considering the location, 4 stars might be fair. (Haven't tried 山岡家.) Maybe it was just on that occasion, but rice was now 110円.
