Always a great place to go for dinner.
View on GoogleYakiniku in Higashi-Kushiro on a Sunday. The interior has an upscale feel with lots of partitioned rooms, and the atmosphere is nice. What we ordered ・Yakiniku Gozen (Ume) 1980 yen ・Hamburg Steak & Tsubozuke Pork Kalbi Set Meal 1480 yen The Yakiniku Gozen has Kuroge Wagyu kalbi, premium sagari, pork horumon, shrimp, vegetables, rice, miso soup, daikon salad, and pickled napa cabbage. The Kuroge Wagyu didn't seem to have that much umami. The hamburg set has a jumbo hamburg steak and tsubozuke pork kalbi, rice, miso soup, daikon salad, and pickled napa cabbage. It's the type you grill yourself on a grate, timing it with an hourglass. I grilled the outside crispy, and the inside was nice and fluffy. The rice was delicious with both. By the way, orders of 400 yen or more get a free drink bar. Also, weekday lunch is around 1000 yen, so it might be surprisingly cheap and a good deal. Thanks for the meal (^~^)
View on GoogleOf all the yakiniku places I've been to in Kushiro, this one ranked at the very bottom. The meat was dry. Only the beef kalbi was barely edible, I guess. Even though being able to use a private room for a fee is nice, all-you-can-eat requires 4 or more adults & a reservation by the day before, which is a higher bar than other yakiniku places. The location and building are spacious and impressive, and the service is wonderful, so it's really just the taste that's a letdown.
View on GoogleBack in my student days, yakiniku meant Bokuzen! You can enjoy Korean-style yakiniku, and I think the prices are reasonable. The interior is stylish too. The whole place, including the restrooms, is barrier-free. Seating is semi-private or private rooms, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about other customers! The soft-serve ice cream for dessert is tasty too. Too bad the harami wasn't good this time😭
View on GoogleThe meat quality seems to have dropped The portions were much smaller too, and the taste seemed different… especially the shirokoro horumon I used to go often, but this time I was a bit disappointed The floor staff were pleasant, but a young male staffer's greeting was so loud that our whole family was startled even in a private room.
