The atmosphere is like an old-fashioned all-you-can-eat yakiniku place. The prices are low and the selection is limited, but the jingisukan and tongue were delicious. The macaroni salad is good too. The dessert pudding had the simple flavor I remember from childhood, and I ate lots because it was so nostalgic. I think it's an easy, casual place to visit. The customers seemed mostly local, and the staff had a homey feel too. 2300円 on holidays, 1800円 for weekday lunch… wonderful. Rising prices must make things difficult, but I hope this restaurant keeps going.
View on GoogleThe meat quality isn't great, but with yakiniku, sometimes the sauce makes all the difference. The sauce is truly delicious, making even mediocre meat taste good. And the cost is excellent. Considering the cost, I think it's the best yakiniku restaurant in Hokkaido.
View on GoogleThe parking lot is beside the restaurant. Weekday all-you-can-eat lunch ¥1500 I received a thorough explanation about masks and so on, but the crucial tongs for taking meat and vegetables were shared, and I couldn't see any sanitizer… I think there was only sanitizer at the entrance. The meats were (kalbi, pork tongue, offal, liver, formed meat, sausages, pork, lamb), the seafood was (scallops, squid), plus 2,3 kinds of vegetables, macaroni salad, jelly, chopped salad, rice, soup, and so on. I wasn't expecting much from the meat, so it was within an acceptable range… I guess… but the lamb's smell bothered me. There was far too little else, which was disappointing. In the end, I kept eating the same meats. The chopped vegetable salad had a poor color. I didn't ask whether the heat could be adjusted, but as the staff had set it, it was rather low. The sauce was delicious!!!! I'm grateful to be able to eat for 1500円, but the offering matched that price.
View on GoogleQuantity over quality! An all-you-can-eat yakiniku place with a nostalgic feel! Unlimited nonalcoholic soft drinks & all-you-can-eat yakiniku for ¥2600! I went back for meat and drinks many times. It's tatami-floor seating, but the little chairs provided for people with sore knees were helpful. It was also nice that the soft drink selection included hot drinks (coffee and corn potage). Smoke was billowing, and everyone was happy(^^)
View on GoogleI'd been to とんとん亭 in Nishi Ward many times, but this was my first visit to the Kuriyama restaurant. The all-you-can-eat selection is almost the same. The difference is that there's no beef bowl topping. I love the flavor of とんとん亭's sauce. Whatever meat you dip in this sauce makes you eat loads of rice! That day I had liver, which I don't usually eat much at とんとん亭, and it didn't become dry and crumbly when grilled. It was delicious! (A new discovery) The offal is very chewy, and children can't swallow it unless you cut it into small pieces. (I like this chewiness) Recommended for anyone who wants to fill up cheaply! Thanks for the meal! I'll stop by again!
