You can buy single-origin or blend beans, from light to dark roast. There was also something called butter coffee, coated(?) with Hokkaido butter. There are tables inside too, so you can drink in. When I ordered the Brazil, they carefully brewed it by hand drip. It was very delicious coffee. Thank you for the treat! They also sold coffee beans and dish towels embroidered with cat designs, which were cute. Smoking seems to be allowed inside, so there was a pretty strong tobacco smell from the moment I walked in. I dislike the smell of tobacco, so I didn't find it very comfortable, but the coffee was so delicious that if I visit Kuriyama Town again, I'd like to have it again.
View on GoogleA coffee specialty shop. They sell beans, but you can also drink in the shop, though it's coffee only. Head straight in from the entrance to the back and there's one large table with chairs. However, if there are several customers, it becomes a sort of shared-table setup. It's narrow to pass through, so customers should be considerate of one another. Butter coffee seems to be their specialty, so I had that. The cup has no handle, so you drink it like from a yunomi teacup. It was delicious, with a mellow aroma and a faint sweetness.
View on GoogleButter coffee made from butter-coated beans seems to be the recommendation. I had the darkest roast coffee, and it was delicious with a solid depth. The shop is long and narrow with not many seats, so groups can't be accommodated.
View on GoogleA classy coffee shop — when you walk in, the lovely aroma of coffee is so pleasant!
View on GoogleI had the butter coffee. If you really use your nose, you can faintly pick up the butter aroma and flavor. A mellow, delicious coffee. Thank you for the treat.
