Delicious and simple Japanese food. Big menu, lovely staff and private rooms for large groups and functions. Stopped here for a quick meal of fried rice (chahan) after skiing

I come here for lunch sometimes. The parking lot doesn't have many spaces, so parking can be a struggle, but it was before 12, so I was able to park easily. The menu has rice bowls, noodles, and more. Please check the menu. There are chair seats and a raised tatami area, so large groups are fine too. This time I had the shrimp tempura bowl; the sauce wasn't sweet and it was tasty. It also comes with a small soba, which is a good deal.

Revisited after a long time. Looks like a flat 50 yen price increase? Considering the current situation, I think that's fair. What I ordered was, as always, the 'ginger pork set meal' I asked, not expecting much, whether I could get extra meat, and they said OK♪ Ginger pork set meal with extra meat Our client paid, so I don't know how much the extra meat cost... The amount of meat looked the same as last time, but when I ate it, there was definitely more. A place I'd like to drop by again when I'm nearby. A lunch spot recommended by a business partner. They said they only ever eat the ginger pork set meal!, so I joined them♪ Above all, the rice is delicious! The ginger pork isn't too strongly seasoned, just right. Coming with potato salad is a big plus too. The ginger pork set meal is good, but I'd like to try the rice bowls too. If it were in my neighborhood, I'd probably visit regularly.

There's a sushi counter where the master makes sushi, plus table seating, and the interior feels clean. The miso chashu-men at the top of the noodle menu has onions and bean sprouts stir-fried with ground meat, plus wood ear mushrooms, classic Sapporo miso, and the numbing sansho is this shop's signature. The soup isn't too salty and has a gentle sweetness, so I drank it all. The chashu is the lean, firm type with no fat, like at Sanpei in Sapporo and Shurai in Mukawa, and it's tasty. The katsu curry is mild enough for anyone and the katsu is satisfying. Even though it's out in the mountains, locals order sashimi and sushi. The sashimi set meal was delicious. Everything is delicious, and prices are reasonable.

I went to Tenmaken in Kuriyama town. Went in around 12:30. 2 customers before us, 6 after. It's a fairly new, impressive shop. The menu has set meals, rice bowls, noodles, sushi, and more. I ordered the tempura bowl with mini soba for 880 yen, and my partner wanted the sushi set, but they said sushi would take a while, so they ordered the shrimp bowl with mini soba for 880 yen. You can choose soba or udon. It arrived in about 12 minutes. The tempura bowl is topped with eggplant, green pepper, shrimp, salmon, white fish, and so on. The tempura is fried light and fluffy. Delicious. Too bad there's no squid tempura, my favorite. The mini soba is pretty good too. The shrimp bowl came with two big fried shrimp and was apparently delicious. I didn't notice, but it seems they have chashu-men too, so definitely next time. Thank you for the meal🎵
