We came here just for the lake viewpoint behind visitors center the but it's actually a solid starting point for a short climb up a mountain peak. Serviced by a parking lot and a nice visitors centre (with lots of montbell items) with restaurant.

Beautiful view - go up from here to the Mokoto peak - even more beautiful panoramic view of the area! But be aware of bears

Nice starting point to an amazing hike on top of Mount Mokoto. Takes about 1:15 hrs back/forth. Good facilities with a Cafe and toilets as well. Large parking lot.

Very beautiful view! No crowd at all when I was there. Monday around 12pm. There's a nice short path beside the cafe and rest point that bring you to a beautiful viewing point.

I went in mid of June 2023. Skies were clear on the drive up. Yet, the moment I was reaching, the clouds settled in. The fog brings with it a mystical and serene atmosphere. It was cold and empty. The walk to the viewpoint was comfortable. Being foggy, there was nothing that could be seen.
