Yojo Horumon in Kitami is well worth a visit. We stuck to the regular meat cuts rather than the offal, and everything was excellent: tender, well marbled and cooked perfectly at the table. Portions were generous and the quality was consistently high throughout the meal. Do book ahead, as this place is popular and fills up quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive despite the language barrier. Highly recommended for a proper yakiniku experience in Kitami.

Kitami is famous for yakiniku, isn't it. I saw many reviews saying you can do solo yakiniku here, so I went 😊 In conclusion, it was pretty good. As other reviews say, it was extremely crowded. It seemed to start getting a bit emptier after 8 pm. It was nice that you can choose half portions, and the taste was decent. However, personally, though it may be due to my own condition, I honestly couldn't tell whether it was delicious. Good value for money, and it's tasty, but... It honestly felt like what you pay for. The pork horumon is delicious. This volume for this price is too good value. I enjoyed the happiness of getting full on delicious yakiniku. It's a bit of a walk from Kitami Station, but I think the location is easy to find. It's a popular restaurant, so I recommend making a reservation before visiting.
