When you're driving along the national road, you can see the top of this observation tower. It has a slightly unusual shape, so I'd wanted to see it at least once. Finally managed it, wry laugh. Wow~it's tall when you see it up close. And the design is interesting☆ I started climbing straight away, and it was tough. The stairs are quite steep, and the numbers on them make you even more conscious of the climb(^^;) Anyway, reached the top! As other reviews have said, the windows are small and dirty, so the view really isn't good… No attendant, and nobody besides me either… But the surroundings were lovely☆ Higher up there were buildings like a barbecue house☆ Can you camp too…? Anyway, the main attraction here is the park golf course— lots of people were playing☆

I'd been curious about it for a while, but this was my first visit! I climbed all the way up, 126 steps—a good workout.

As soon as you enter, there's a visitors' register where you write where you came from and how many people are with you. There's no elevator, and first you climb 100 steps. The view from there…too many obstructions, disappointing… Climb another 26 spiral steps…and you can see through small windows from a little distance away, but there are even more obstructions here, so the view is disappointing too… If it's called an observation tower, I thought a slightly wider view might bring more repeat visitors.

It's open, and you can climb up the stairs (120 steps). But the upkeep is questionable, and the inside is covered in bat droppings... The all-important view is really disappointing too... Why was it built this way? I don't recommend it, but perhaps it's unusual.

A spot overlooking Tokoro. I went by rental bicycle, and although I'd seen from a distance that it was high up and braced myself, the steep uphill road was really tough. Once I finally arrived, there were stairs next—it was exhausting. The main viewing point is at 100 steps. There's a spiral staircase above that, but the windows are far away and dirty, so you can't see anything or take photos. The dirty windows at the 100-step point are bothersome too. I looked out while wiping the windows with tissues. Incidentally, Tokoro Shrine and this place are close in a straight line, so I thought I might be able to walk straight there even without a road, but that's impossible. You have to take quite a detour, just as the route search says.
