we walked 20 minutes from rubeshibe station to this restaurant. only one woman running her business by herself which is very impressive given the amount of people dining there. we ordered the katsu curry. it was a very satisfying lunch, generous portion with thick slices of katsu, definitely worth the walk. very friendly owner, wish i spoke japanese.

Was looking for a quick and good meal and this hit the spot. The katsu curry was huge, definitely a recession proof dish. Pickled salmon was also delicious.

The katsu... The katsu is incredible—huge, thick, so meaty! At 31℃, in the sweltering heat, eating カツカレー with thick katsu while drenched in sweat was delicious. This katsu would probably taste great sprinkled with rock salt too. Maybe my body was just craving salt and minerals because it was hot🤔 The curry sauce was delicious too, packed with the sweetness and savoriness of onions. Apparently the restaurant's recommendation is モツらーめん. If I get another chance to come to 留辺蘂, I'll try it. 2026.8.12

A restaurant with a Showa-era atmosphere. Apparently ホルモンラーメン and the katsu dishes are popular. The ホルモンラーメン is on the spicy side, so if you don't like that, ask for less spice. The チャーシュー丼 has quite a distinctive flavor and is topped with wasabi too. It's different from a typical チャーシュー丼, so bear that in mind.

The カツ丼 with its big, thick katsu is delicious🌞 I came after the lunchtime rush, so the restaurant was quiet🌞 On the other hand, popular items like curry had sold out, so I think it's worth keeping that in mind🌞
