I went because I was curious about カーリング焼き. It is certainly delicious, but everything else is bad. Prices are generally on the high side. Photography isn't allowed inside.

The カーリング焼き was very delicious, but… the female employee (owner?) was unfriendly. As others have also written… she felt cold. That's the only disappointing part. Couldn't she be a little friendlier?

It's a very small shop that seems to double as a home. The Western-style sweets, including baked goods, are generally inexpensive and offer very good value. カーリング焼 is famous, but personally I like their パイシュー (280円). They fill it with cream on the spot after you buy it, and as shown in the photo, it's quite a tall cream puff, making it a substantial treat. The custard inside also seems to contain Western liquor, giving it a distinctive sweet aroma, which is another reason I like it.

I stopped by on a whim. The cakes were on the small side, and the prices seemed appropriate. The cream in the イチゴショート and モンブラン was delicious. They had something unusual called カーリング焼き, so I bought it. It tasted pleasantly unremarkable. 3 shortcakes and 2 カーリング焼き came to 1540円‼️

I visited for the first time because I wanted to try カーリング焼き. Not only the カーリング焼き, but the パイシュー and pudding were all superb. There were lots of other delicious-looking cakes on display too, but I couldn't buy them, so I'll definitely come again.
