Delicious fresh unagi, super nice staff and very elegant Japanese indoor decoration!

Great Unagi place to stop by

I used it for the first time on 6/13. The female staff member's service was polite and good! I ordered the Tokujū, and inside there was one and a half eels on the surface and half an eel inside the rice. I've only ever eaten eel at supermarkets, Sukiya, and the like, and as an amateur, the skin wasn't mushy and I enjoyed eating it, and the flesh was fluffy. They said it's the only place in Hokkaido where you can eat Kyōsui eel, and it was great! After paying, the woman and the owner also came out and said "That was a lot, wasn't it?", and I replied that it was so delicious I finished it all, and left. Besides eel, there are lunch menus and various other things, and I thought I'd like to go again! ☺️

I had Kyōsui eel. It's from Ōigawa, Shizuoka Prefecture. They say fresh eel is sent to them every day and they prepare it. It's an ingredient with a lot of care put into it. The all-important eel was plump. The moderate, refined fat melted in my mouth and it was a very, very delicious eel. The sauce is lightly coated on. I felt the care put into that, too. There's also extra sauce if you want a stronger taste. I was very moved that I could eat such delicious eel in Kitami. The price, with inflation, was quite a price, but I think they're probably doing their very best even so. I'll come back for eel again. Thank you for the meal.

We ate really delicious eel. The eel was really soft and fragrant, and the soy sauce is exquisite. And what made me happiest was the boss's happy laughter and kindness. Coming to this shop was a very big stroke of luck on our trip. We will come back again. Thank you.
