I enjoyed a beautiful pork katsu curry with fried (local) onions on top 😋 cheap, just a shame they don’t serve beer, but it was so good I’m going to give them five stars despite this 🤷‍♂️

I visited because this was said to be a popular local curry restaurant in Kitami. I ordered "tamanegi curry" topped with katsu (medium spicy). The first surprise was how delicious the sauce was. You could really taste the sweetness and richness of Kitami-grown onions, and the heat was mild, making it very easy to eat. You can enjoy the onions' savory flavor right to the end without getting bored. I can see why it is popular as their signature dish using Kitami's famous onions. And the katsu was truly delicious! The coating was crispy, the meat tender, and it paired perfectly with the sauce. The interior felt clean, with an atmosphere where you could comfortably dine alone. Perfect for lunch while traveling too. If I'm eating curry in Kitami, this is definitely a place I'd like to stop by again. Thank you for the meal!

A place I'd been curious about for ages but kept missing the chance to enter😌 I stopped by during a leisurely holiday moment😃 Naturally, my first visit😹 I entered knowing little about it😍 It seemed compact, but there was no curry🍛 aroma from the kitchen, and it felt neat and clean😃 Takeout seems available too, with a dedicated checkout area🎵 I ventured timidly farther inside😂 There was a space for dining in✨ Maybe because it was between lunch and dinner, the place was quiet😄 The customers were men who seemed to be foreign nationals✨ Apparently there are staff who speak English, and there didn't seem to be any particular trouble🙆 You buy a meal ticket😁 I handed it to a staff member at the back and started waiting😉 The energetic greeting from the staff when I entered was pleasant too😏 The promotional signs also had limited menus🥰 I thought it would be nice to have a notice where you buy the meal tickets too🐺 I ate Chikara curry🍛😆 It came on a silver plate☺️ Medium spicy, regular portion😊 Delicious, apparently with various ingredients, giving it depth😸 My stay was brief, but a delicious time🙆 Maybe onion🧅 curry next? I'll consult my stomach and come again😄

The restaurant is known for its rich curry made with Kitami's famous onions. There are 2 locations in the city, and they've expanded to Asahikawa and Chiba tooー Curry restaurants serving on silver plates never disappoint! I visited partly because of that personal theory. Like Kanazawa curry's Go Go Curry and Champion, Obihiro's Indian Curry, and so on They're generally delicious✨ Now, what I ordered this time was ■Katsu curry　1100円 ■Hot　10円 I always end up going for the katsu (laugh) The size of the katsu on the curry brought a smile✨ A nice sizeー The rice seemed fairly generous too. I chose hot, and it was quite spicy! Perhaps it's the sweetness of the onions The sweetness was restrained and just right. The heat stood out. I'm not very fond of sweet curry, but this curry had a good balance✨ The katsu was substantial too, so I recommend itー If I'd added fried onions Maybe it would have been even betterー But very satisfied✨ Thank you for the meal✨
