ok place.

Very average place. The type of soba you can find in any soba shop so I don't know why this one is so popular. Service is so so slow, that we waited over 30minutes while the restaurant was only half-full on a Wednesday afternoon.

I'd been interested in this place for a long time, but never really had a chance to go😭 Then I went with my coworkers✨ Lunchtime close to the weekend😃 It wasn't that crowded✨ Though by that I mean we didn't have to queue😹 Ordered the tanuki soba and tendon set😌 I worried the tendon might sit heavily in my stomach, but there was no need🎵 I'd heard before that they use rice flour for frying😍 I enjoyed the crispiness too, and the seasoning was a little strong😆 The interior is Japanese-style, and apparently the business has been around for 50 years😁 I think the main branch was in Tsubetsu😉 Conversation flowed among us, and we had a delicious, enjoyable meal😂 The portions are seriously huge, so if you want to finish everything, I recommend coming hungry☺️

It's always busy, and I'd been curious about it for years, so I finally got in. My companion had jo ebi ten-zaru soba, and I had ebi oroshi soba. It was delicious.

Ordered cold ebi oroshi soba, but it wasn't cold—it was lukewarm. It also wasn't drained properly, so water had pooled underneath, diluting the flavor even after pouring on the sauce. I came in at 3, which shouldn't be a busy time, but is this really what you get…
