Nice restaurant on the highway. The food is quite good and the price is around ¥900-1400. Great for a quick lunch.

After a long drive, we highly appreciate we can have a warm fresh made meal from the restaurant, the rice and curry was really good! I ordered an extra raw egg and it was delicious as well 😊 it’s quite busy when we visit but we didn’t wait for too long, plus it’s nice we can have cold/warm tea during the wait!

The soba went down smoothly, and its simplicity made the flavor something you wouldn't tire of. As a slightly early dinner, it was easy on the stomach and satisfyingly warming to the heart😆 • Restaurant: Located in the food court at Wattsu PA (outbound) on the Do-o Expressway, it is bright and spacious. I visited around 16:45, with about 2 groups already there. In the very calm atmosphere, I could enjoy my meal leisurely at my own pace. Meal tickets were easy to buy from the machine, and receipts could be issued properly, making it very convenient for businesspeople returning from business trips😆 ■Quick note: Wattsu PA also has a “24-hour convenience store” and a “gas station,” making it a reassuring base for long-distance travel. This food court is open from 7:30 in the morning until 20:00 at night and has a wide-ranging menu. Even at an awkward time like this visit, it quickly serves delicious hot food, truly a dependable companion for a drive. It was the right place to stop at the end of a long drive! I enjoyed a satisfying dinner😃

I was traveling on the outbound side and stopped completely by chance. There was a restaurant at a rest stop where I hadn't expected one. Compared with other rest stops, there are more food options, and various Hokkaido specialty products are gathered here, making it a good place to shop. I had butadon at the restaurant, and it was delicious. But more than the taste, I was touched by how kind the lady🥰 at the shop counter was. After buying some products and eating, I came back and ordered an iced Americano. She happily welcomed me back, (the system is like a convenience store: they give you ice, and you dispense the coffee from the machine beside it.) She closed her counter and came over herself to explain it to me, then bowed 90 degrees in greeting. Her kindness made me feel even more grateful and naturally bow even lower. She was the kindest person on this trip, and thank you for giving me warmth to hold on to.🙏
