An izakaya near Kitahiroshima Station. I found this place by chance while staying at a nearby hotel to play golf, having come from Hiroshima Prefecture. When I entered, both the tatami seats and the counter were full and I couldn't sit, but they let me sit in a narrow spot near the entrance. The chairs were beer crates, but that's a good memory too. I was happy that drinks at this special seat were discounted. Soon a counter seat opened up and I sat down. I was satisfied with the Hokkaido seafood and ingredients and the delicious sake. The owner also served me warmly. When I visit Hokkaido again, I'd like to stop by again.

I visited because it seemed like a good eatery near the station, taking the free shuttle bus from the Kitahiroshima hotel. The owner and part-timers were all kind, and the food was all fresh and delicious. I recommend the omakase sake, and the yuzu sake for women. Sashimi, grilled Atka mackerel, and raw oysters twice the size of my hand, I've never seen before! Amazing!

If someone asked me for a recommended izakaya in Kitahiroshima, this is a shop I'd keep on the candidate list.
