The Koharubiyori Healthy Hanakago Gozen I'd been wanting to try for ages! Reservations are available for 2 or more, so the three of us went to celebrate my mother, who's in her 80s and had her birthday last month, together with my younger sister. A feast for the eyes! Just-right sweetness and acidity, with the gentle saltiness of koji. The dishes were served in small vessels, but I ended up full. Reading the explanations on the menu as we ate made it an enjoyable meal.

The window glass and other details have a relaxing retro feel. I had an open sandwich with slightly unusual toppings, and it was delicious. It's a nature-minded café that takes care with its ingredients. Next time I'd like to try the lunch set.

I had the pumpkin parfait (size S). The lightly sweetened anko, pumpkin mousse, comforting warm pumpkin cubes, pumpkin shiratama, and fluffy whipped cream were nicely balanced. It has a gentle flavor and comes in two sizes, so it feels like somewhere I'd visit when I fancy just a little something.

Such a cute place. The lunch plate had wholesome dishes and was delicious too. The one slightly disappointing thing was being shown to the counter even though lunch hours were over and the place was quiet.

A simple place, without extremely lavish food, an enormous menu, mountain-sized portions, a spacious stylish interior, or a great view outside... But they serve modest, delicious dishes that are good for you (I'll say that outright). At first glance I thought, “Huh? Isn't that a bit small? (from a middle-aged guy's perspective),” but it filled me up. The coffee had a balanced flavor without anything outlandish.
