COFFEE & SHARESPACE tigris[チグリス]
This is a shared space in Kimobetsu, at the foot of Mount Yōtei in Hokkaido. Inspired by the owner's wish to “design a community where anyone can casually stop by,” it includes not only a coffee stand but also a shared kitchen, workspace, event space, and more, which can be used for events and workshops. We hope visitors will connect over coffee and encounter new “people, things, and information.”

We were introduced to this place by a family friend on a cold day, and it was pleasant surprise! The coffee, especially cafe au lait, was my favorite, and the polku snacks too. Since we're foreigners, it wasn't easy to have conversations due to the language barrier, but the owners were very patient and sweet (even willing to go out to buy milk on a snowy day). The ambience is very cozy and warm, and I hope to come back someday to enjoy your space and coffee. Until then, I'll write a small passage about the cafe on my journal to remember :>>>

View on GoogleCute little coffee place.
View on GoogleDelicious coffee and a quiet space where you can relax at the café😆 The owner is friendly too, and you can enjoy all sorts of conversations. If I could ask for more, lunch options might be nice, like pasta or curry loaded with Kimobetsu vegetables😃 Also, the coffee cups with the Chiguris logo are incredibly cute, so they might be worth selling. I think, why not make Chiguris merchandise❓️ Instead of just coffee and a little dessert, you could sell merchandise or handmade local goods on consignment. I'll come by motorcycle next time😆 Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleI couldn't quite figure out where to park, so I went around the area 2 times😁 Coffee and pumpkin pudding cake🎃 It was a cake, not a pudding. It seemed like a nice place to enjoy coffee at leisure.
