No pink moss at all. You can go up to see the city views.

Some paths are impassable due to landslides, but after walking along the trail for about 10 minutes, you reach the observation deck. There is a free telescope, and the children enjoyed looking through it. The panoramic sea view was so wide it couldn't all fit in the camera! Apparently you can see shibazakura in spring.

Visited 25.08.31. This seems like a hidden gem. If you go up, you can see a panoramic view of Kikonai.

The road is narrow and you need to pass through a cemetery. If shibazakura were blooming all over the hillside, it would probably be quite beautiful, but out of season it's just a plain stretch of grass.
